About Us
StreamShare was founded in February 2021 as a part of Wesleyan University's COMP333 class.* While our app has plenty of features, our mission is simple, and it's to help people answer the dreaded question: "So what kind of music do you like?" With StreamShare, you will never again have to say "Oh, you know, I like a bunch of different kinds of music..." —just show people your top rated songs! Let the world know what tunes you jam to and what songs you just can't stand. Read below for more details about the features we offer!RATE
Any song on Spotify, Apple Music, or Soundcloud can be rated by our users. Rate any song out of 5 stars and leave a review of the track. Your ratings will be posted to your profile and to the song's review page. StreamShare will even recommend new music based on your likes and dislikes!
SHARE
Once you've rated a song, you can share your ratings with friends, or post them to your social media. Add other users on the app to follow what they're rating. You can even unlock the favorite songs and artists you have in common with other users when you add them!
SEARCH
Search for specific songs, artists, users, or reviews on the app. Filter by title, username, overall rating, dates, and more! See the music that's trending among our users--because it's good or bad!-- and search these trends with ease.
